The 5K Roll is for participants with physical disabilities who will be using a walker, wheelchair, hand cycle, or other movement assistance device. This division of the Izzo Run/Walk/Roll is important for The Izzo Legacy to embrace inclusivity and welcome participants of all abilities to be an important part of this charitable community event.
5K participants that would like to run or walk with a stroller should register for the 5K Run/Walk and plan to line up at the back of their assigned corral.
NO ROLLER SKATES, ROLLER BLADES, BIKES, SCOOTERS, etc. are allowed in any event!
Packet pickup will be hosted the following days and times:
Friday, April 24: 11am - 7pm at Playmakers (click here for directions)
Saturday, April 25: 10am - 5pm at Playmakers
Sunday, April 26 (RACE DAY): Opens at 7:30am inside the Breslin Center's Williams Gate
Absolutely! To help this process, please come to packet pickup prepared with the person's registration QR code, or be ready to provide our volunteers with their first and last name.
In order to ensure everyone receives the shirt size they selected, we CANNOT offer any size exchanges prior to race day. If you are interested in exchanging for a different size, please plan to contact community@playmakers.com starting Wednesday, April 29.
7:30 AM - Packet Pickup, Late Registration opens in side Breslin Center (Williams Gate)
9:30 AM - National Anthem
9:35 AM - 1/2 K Walk & Roll Start
10:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk/Roll Start (corrals start every 2-2.5 minutes)
11:30 AM - Kids Sprint Start
11:45 AM - Kids 1/2 Mile Start

Yes, all identified parking options will be free!
Restrooms will be available inside the Breslin Center as well as in Spartan Stadium after you finish.
The start line for the 1/2 K and 5K is located on Kalamazoo near Jenison Field House.
The finish line is located on Red Cedar near the north entrances of Spartan Stadium.
The Kids Sprint will fully take place on Dem Field.
The Kids 1/2 Mile will start on Chestnut directly next to Dem Field and finish at the main finish line on Red Cedar.

Yes, we do allow participants to run or walk with a stroller! If you plan to participate with a stroller, please line up at the back of your assigned corral.
No need to register the individual riding in the stroller unless you want them to also receive a shirt and finisher medal!
We love our furry friends! However, due to the size of the event, official MSU policy, and the safety and experience of everyone, dogs are NOT permitted in any of our events or inside any MSU facilities (excludes official service dogs).
Yes, we will have a water station at the halfway point on Auditorium, directly outside the MSU Chapel. Click here to view and download the course map, which includes the location of this aid station.
We will have medals and age group awards available in the parking lot on the north side of Spartan Stadium. After receiving your medal, you can continue toward the stadium tunnel for complimentary snacks and beverages.
All participants are also welcome to complete a victory lap inside Spartan Stadium! You must present your race bib in order to access the field.

- Top 5 Male & Female in each age group: Official IZZO Nike hat
